Dear Sir

I have to thank you for the instructions to prepare Algae contained in your kind favor of the 27 ulto.

To the present I have been unsuccessful in finding the sea grass you wish to obtain blossoms of though I have searched the place Fitzalan tells me Mr Kilner found it I will however take opportunity of low tides and get it if it is to be found there.

I have now the pleasure to enclose herein a few pods of the which I trust will be what you require Should you need more I shall be happy to send them — the bushes are seeding now very abundantly in this or any other way that I can be of service either to you or science I shall only be too glad to do whatever I can — and with kindest regards
