My dear Baron,
I send you a paragraph from to-day's Herald .

See Sydney morning herald, 31 March 1879, p. 5, for a review of B78.11.01, M's descriptions of new fossil plants; the review was almost certainly written by Woolls whose newspaper pieces were rarely signed.
It will make the subject known. We have lately come upon a fossil fern or aquatic plant in sandstone. As soon as I can get a drawing, I will send it to you. It seems to be a frond of several inches, reticulated.
I am sorry to say that I cannot help you about the Orchid, & I am glad that you have written to Canon King.
