Although his name appears in the Fellows list for 1890 and later, his signature was deleted from the certificate for T Stanley Milroy (M to the Royal Geographical Society, July 1890 (in this edition as 90-07-00b)), and the name of a Council member, C. E. Peek, substituted; his name was also removed from the certificate for L. L. Smith (M to Royal Geographical Society, 28 January 1891). His name does not appear in the list for 1895.
