Dear Sir
I send under seperate cover a cutting from a plant now growing in my garden and request
that you will be good enough to inform me as to what order this specimen belongs,
and also give the botanical name. I may state that twelve months ago while riding
in the Ecklin forest ten miles south of Terang,
I found this plant growing upon an alluvial flat covered with rough grass, heavy
clay soil. I secured a root and planted it in my garden where it has grown vigorously
and is now in full bloom.
