I just got a letter, dear Mr Ramsay, from my friend in Hamburg, Dr Sonder,

in which he says, that he will be happy as a member of the Museum-Commission to propose you as a corresp. or hon. memb. of the Naturalists Society of that city,

if you will send some reptiles, in Alcohol, which are much needed there.
