Es war recht gütig, verehrter Herr Doctor, dass Sie sich bei Dr Barroeta wegen Auskunft über Industrie Pflanzen Mexico's verwendeten. Ich habe desshalb denn auch mich direct an ihn gewandt. Über Ihr Photogram habe ich mir recht gefreuet, und dasselben einen hervorragenden Platz in meinem Album gegeben. Nehmen Sie mein Bildchen auch freundlich als Souvenir entgegen.

An Ihren schönen u edlen Bäumen kann ich mich nie satt sehen. Durch mich existiren mehr nordamerikanische Bäume (namentlich Coniferen) um Melbourne als australische.
Ich werde die Fortsetzung Ihrer Correspondenz, als eine Freuden-Quelle betrachten.
