Report of the Royal Society of Tasmania for 1876. The report was read at the Annual General Meeting on 30 January 1877, when the motion 'That the Report be adopted, and printed for circulation amongst the Fellows' was approved. The complete volume of the Papers and proceedings and report of the Royal Society of Tasmania for the year 1876 was published in 1877, but apparently not issued until late December when Launceston and Hobart newspapers announced that it had been received (for example Mercury (Hobart), 20 December 1977, p. 2). The R eport, which is separately paginated, was evidently printed for distribution before final publication.
