I have now the pleasure of informing you that I have got instruction to proceed to Trinity Bay

to examen the land in its Neighbourhood &c. &c. As I told you in my last letter

I shall send you a collection of the plants that I collect. I have no doubt but what I shall find some good plants and specimens. It is very likely that I shall explore Cape Grafton &c. &c.
I send by this post a parcle containing some specimens gathered by a person in the Neighbourhood of Maryborough

is I. palmata, or is it new to you. It will be a good plant to cultivate for the Gardens. What do you make No 1 I have sent the bark along with the specimen. No 2. is also a good sized tree &c

there is any particular plant you want more than one specimen of, that I can get at Trinity Bay
I shall leave Brisbane on 21st inst. so let me know in time. I hope to find some more New palms & ferns, &c.
