Royal Horticultural Society, London. Letter not found; the membership records of the Society for this period do not survive, but Fellowship of the Royal Horticultural Society is not mentioned in Ramsay's obituaries (see Etheridge (1917) and ADB). See also M to E. Ramsay, 12 July 1876.

It is pleasing that you have the Albert-palm, as it will have a great sale in Engl., where the Prince Consorts memory is kept sacred by so many of the Nobility
