I have the honor to inform you that at a meeting of the Trustees of the Royal Park
held this day it was unanimously resolved that the Trustees are unable to comply with
the request of the Brunswick borough Council as conveyed in your letter of the 25th
June

The Brunswick Borough Council had requested that a portion of the Royal Park be excised
and transferred to its control (Trustees' minute book, minutes of meeting of 7 July 1876).
