Dr Seemann identified the Fiji sp. as L. In this he may or may not be correct. The fruit is not sufficient, to discriminate among the Cycades.

A leaf from Fiji in my collection is shining on both sides as in C. circinalis of India, but the main-characteristics rest in the flower scale (male) & fruit scales or raches. You might easily procure these. I should also like to see a little more of C. Cairnsiana, so far as ♂ flower raches & fruit raches are concerned.
