Melbourne,
19/2/76.
The hon. J. Macpherson,
Chief Secretary.
Sir,
I have the honor to inform you, that I returned this day to my office, after the death of my brother in law, Dr. E. Wehl, J.P., at Mount Gambier and after preliminarily aiding in arranging the affairs of my sister and her large and unprovided young family I shall probably have to seek your permission, to proceed again after some weeks to my sister's place for the final arrangements of her future.
