This requisition was approved and forwarded to the Government Printer's Office on 3 August 1875. The labels may have been a supply of M's standard herbarium labels, but 10,000 is the number of labels that would have been needed for the third part of his exsiccatae, 'Educational Collections of Victorian Plants' if completed to the extent that M envisaged for each part (see Lucas et al.
