Saturday night
Can you kindly inform me, dear Mr. Odgers, whether the Ballarat farmers club did receive a copy of the educational collection? If not, I could take one up, if yet one to spare, and present it on behalf of Mr Ramsay, should the honorable Gentleman approve of it.

The letter is minuted: 'This Society has not been supplied from this office. Here are still some spare copies A.G. 11.5.75.' Robert Ramsay replied: 'Forward copy RR 12.5.75'.W. Odgers to M, 14 May 1875, enclosed a set of the Educational Collection for presentation to the Ballarat Farmers' Club, to which M was to present a lecture on 15 May.
The item is dated to 8 May, based on it being the Saturday before 'A.G.' (probably Arthur Greenwood, appointed as a cklerk in 1867) wrote the minute for Odgers, and Odgers sent the material to M.
