Please change the name of in the portion already sent to , Thunberg flor. Japon, 295, t.31., as Thunbergs name has two years precedence over that of G. Forster.

H. gramineum was described by J. G. A. Forster (1786), p. 53; H. japonicum was described in Thunberg (1784), p. 295.
All Hypericums of Tasmania belong to one species.
