Sir
I have the honor to inform you, that I shall proceed to day to the Circular Head
and the backranges of that place, in accordance with your permission, to institute
comparisons of the vegetation of the opposite coast for the elucidation of the Victorian
Flora, I shall return in about a week, and have arranged for the departmental work
in the meanwhile with Mr. Luehmann, the Assistant of the botanic Museum.
