Sir,
I have the honor to solicit that you will be pleased to sanction the transmission of the sum of £100 (One hundred pounds), voted for the publication of works on Australian plants, and now under authority C/S 252, to the Agent General in London, to be paid to Mr. Geo. Bentham the President of the Linnean Society, as the monetary contribution of the Victorian Government towards the 7th volume of the Flora Australiensis, for which subsidy thirty copies of the volume, now under progress, will be received.
