Memo for the Govt Botanist
The Honble The Minister of Lands & Agriculture has directed me to inform you that it has come to his knowledge that Mr Bacchus of Ballarat, having for his object the study of the colonial grasses, visited the national Herbarium a few days since but was denied access thereto. Mr Casey is desirous of ascertaining when the specimen plants contained therein will be open for inspection by the public of Victoria.
