Sir,
I do myself the honor to enclose herewith copy of a despatch addressed to me by the
Italian Foreign Office.
By its perusal you will find that H. M. the King has been highly pleased that the
name of one of his sons be given to one of the most important geographical discoveries
of Australia
and that H. E. the Minister of Foreign Affaires directs me to convey to you His Majesty's
acknowledgement thereof
