Attached to the MS is a pencil sketch giving the dimensions and acreage of the cemetery,
and a note by Farrelly: 'I have the honor to apply for such shrubs and trees as the
Botanical Department may consider suitable for the ornamentation of the Kilmore Cemetery the
area of which is 5 acres in rectangular form as in pencil above | M. Farrelly'. The
note also bears some calculations suggesting 220 trees and 220 shrubs.
