Dear Sir
Aware of your liberality in supplying suitable trees for Church grounds I take the
liberty of writing to ask you for a supply for the grounds surrounding the three churches
in my Parish, viz, Koroit, Woodford and Winslow — Western district of Victoria, near

I will leave the choice of trees to your experience, & sound judgement in such matters.
If you will be kind enough to accede to this request may I beg of you to forward the
trees per steamer to Warrnambool advising me of their shipment on receipt of which
advice I will either go or send for them.
I am
Dear Sir
Faithfully yours
W. Smyly.
