Dr Von Mueller Esqr
Dear Sir,
I am instructed by the Trustees of the Darraweit-guim Cemetery to solicit you on their
behalf for a small collection of young trees of a hardy nature to plant in the Cemetery
as the rabbits have destroyed a considerable number of those received from you on
the last & the previous year. The Trustees intend to protect them this year by enclosing
them around with baskets or close fencing, until they grow to a sufficient height
to withstand the ravages of those destructive animals. Should you have a few trees
or shrubs for distribution to them, if you would be so good as to state when to come
for them you would greatly oblige.
Yours respectfully
Willm I. Brown
Secretary for the Trustees.
