Having delayed for several days to reply to your letter concerning the supply of young trees for the forest station at Mount Macedon, in order that I might have the benefit of an oral consultation with you, which you kindly granted me yesterday, I have the honor to inform you, that any morning this week I shall be ready to point out to the Forest Inspector,
1
William Ferguson.
what plants in my nurseries — fit to go out — can at present be spared for the supply of the forests without encroachment on the requirement of the bot Garden itself.
