Sir
I have the honor to inform you that I submitted your letter (N. 3634)
of the 14th inst. to the trustees of the Royal Park at a meeting held this day, when
I was desired to express to the hon. the Minister of the Lands Department the best
thanks of the trustees for the courtesy shown them by consulting them in reference
to the intended sale of land at Park Street, and further to inform the hon. the Minister,
that the trustees would respectfully offer their opinion on this question in a very
short time.

The Trustees had been asked whether they had any objection against the possible sale
of land fronting Park Street, east of the Royal Park (A345 Royal Park Trustees letter
& minute book, p.199, Mitchell Library, State Library of New South Wales, Sydney).
At a meeting on 24 April, they agreed that the question should stand over. No subsequent
discussion of the matter is recorded in the minutes.
I have the honor to be Sir, Your obedient
Ferd von Mueller
Hon Secr. Trust. Royal Park
The Assist Commissioner of Lands & Survey.
