I have to draw your attention to the fact that only £507.12/9d are available for wages
in the Botanical Garden for the remaining six months of the financial year, and to
request that you will take immediate steps so to control your monthly expenditure,
the amount paid away for wages in the month of December last having been £104.9/—,
as to bring the total outlay for the above mentioned period within the sum named.
