The publications listed can be found in the file 'Mueller's publications' under 'Apparatus'
on this website. Some predate his appointment in Victoria in 1853; however, his paper in
Linnaea
listed here as 1852, which dealt with SA plants, did not appear until 1853 (B53.04.01). M's publication list provided on the website also includes various reprints of items that he lists here, letters to the editor on various botanical topics such as poisonous
plants that are not included here, and some publications on topics not directly related to his role as Government Botanist,
including for example his promotion of searches to discover the fate of Leichhardt.
