I have the honor to solicit that you will be pleased to grant a transfer of the sum
of £1.14/ (one pound fourteen shillings Sterlg) from the vote for Forage (1871/2),
now still under authority No 625, to the votes for Incidental Expenses, in order to
enable me to meet a claim for gas, consumed in the laboratory of the Botanic Garden
during the last financial year.
