You are always so obliging and circumspect, dear Mr Guilfoyle, that I do not feel
much hesitation in asking you for anything that may be within your reach. This time
I require very much information on the two native species of
. — One is a tall
tree
with round fruit, the other is a shrub with oblong fruit The flowers and fruits of
both are much required to settle properly the diagnosis. In Cunningham's collection
some confusion exists; hence the desirability of matching with undoubted correctness
the flowers & fruit of each species.
I should also like to profit from your great local knowledge, as regards the localities,
each of two occupy, also what hight they respectively reach
