[ The Rev. Mr. Garlick has had the ground in front of the parsonage tastefully laid out in flower beds, and has planted about the reserve a quantity of young trees and shrubs. On Wednesday last a case of suitable plants was received from the Melbourne Botanic Gardens. Had Mr. Garlick applied a month earlier, he could have obtained a more varied supply and older plants ; but he has not fared at all badly, and desires to publicly acknowledge his indebted-ness to Baron Von Mueller, who kindly did the best he could under the circumstances. ]
