Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your memorandum of the 18th instant
forwarding a letter from the Secretary of the Eight hours Demonstration, asking for
a holiday for the men employed in the Botanic Gardens on the 22nd instant; and to
inform you that it has been transmitted for the consideration of the Honorable the
Commissioner of Crown Lands and Survey.
