Por cuanto atendiendo á las circunstancias que concurren en vos el Baron Fernando
de Müller; He tenido á bien nombraros por Mi Decreto de diez del presente mes Comendador
de la Real Orden de Isabel la Catolica, libre de gastos por vuestra calidad de estrangero.
Por tanto os concedo los honores distinciones y uso de las insignias que os corresponden
al tenor de los Estatutos confiando por las cualidades que os distinguen, en que os
esmerareis en contribuir al mayor lustre de la Orden Y de este titulo refrendado por
el Secretario de la Orden y firmado por el Gran Canciller se tomará razon en la Contaduria
de la misma.

On the reverse of the certificate is written: 'Como Ministro Maestro de Ceremonias
y Contador de la Orden Tomé razon' [As Minister, Master of Ceremonies and Register
of the Order I took note], followed by an illegible signature.
AMADEO 1st, BY THE GRACE OF GOD
AND THE NATIONAL WILL, KING OF SPAIN
On taking into account the circumstances that unite in you, Baron Ferdinand von Müller;
I have found it right to nominate you by my Decree of the tenth of the present month
Commander of the Royal Order of Isabel la Católica, free of charges on account of
your being a foreigner.
Therefore I grant you the honours distinctions and use of the insignias that correspond
to the content of the Statutes, trusting from the qualities that distinguish you that
you will thrive to contribute to the greater lustre of the Order. And of this Title
confirmed by the Secretary of the Order and signed by the Grand Chancellor note will
be taken in the account of the same.
Given in the Palace the eighteenth of March of eighteen hundred and seventy-two
