Honored Sir
Dr Wagner of Gotha bids me to convey to the Queensland Government his best thanks
for the supply of the statistic documents for the diplomatic Almanac
for 1872, and he wishes me to express his solicitation that annually any new issues
of statistic interest concerning your colony may be supplied also in future, in order
that always the latest and most correct account may be entered into the Gotha Almanac.
As it is in the interest of Queensland itself, I have felt no hesitation to render
the Editors wishes known to you The Almanac is now regularly in existence since 109
years and used at every court and ambassady.
