Sir,
At a meeting held yesterday, the trustees of the Royal Park were informed, that by
fencing the additional piece of land, proposed to be added to the Brunswick Cricket
Ground, an encroachment will take on an existing road, and the trustees have directed
me to state to the Brunswick Council, that the concession made for the extension of
the Cricket ground was herewith revoked, if any portion of the road was to be encroached on, and that (would)
under such circumstances it would be necessary for the Council to come to some arrangement
with the trustees for a readjustment of the intended new line of the cricket ground.

I may add that on the small sketch plan, submitted by you, no indication of an interference
with the existing road is indicated.

Your obedient Servant.
