Melbourne botanic Garden
24/4/71
Sir
I have the honor to inform you, that for some time past a preacher, connected with
the City Mission, has taken his position near the Iron bridge of the botanic Garden
within ground under my control, to adress the public on Sunday afternoons. I have
not seen any harm arise out of this, but as the press has taken public notice now
of the fact,
I beg to bring this under your notice and await your instructions on the subject.
I have the honor to be your obedient servant
