MS found with a specimen of Ochrosia kilneri (MEL 1587728). There are several other specimens at MEL, also collected by Fitzalan, some bearing his field notes. MS annotated by M: 'Ochrosia (Echino caryon) Kilneri F.v.M'; a label with the same text in M’s hand accompanies the specimen.

Another specimen, MEL 1587730, has an undated note from Fitzalan attached, which although it bears the same number may not have been collected at the same date:

Ochrosia Kilneri F.v.M.
A large glossy leaved tree like Lactaria Calocarpa — the fruit being bright red—the tree is as large and as fine as Ficus Microphylla—no flowers at present
There is also what appears to be a field note by Fitzalan:
