I have the honor by the direction of the above Committee to acknowledge your letter
of the 9th Jan
and to inform you in reply that upon the receipt of the articles returned from the
Sydney Exhibition
which are your private property, such articles shall be given up to any person authorised
by you in writing to receive them.
