I hope you will see, dear Mr Clarke, that Mr Hoffmanns pay for Sept, Oct. and November
is past
on Tuesday, as it is not just to keep him so long out of his remuneration, to which
he is rightly and fairly entitled. If no quorum is formed at the meeting, you might
oblige me and him very easily by going to the few members of the Committee of the
Industrial Museum and get individually their sanction to this pay, in order that Mr
Hoffmann may not be harassed by wants any longer.
