It affords me very much pleasure, dear Mr Barlee, to introduce to you Mr Joachimi,
a German Gentleman, who held for about a dozen years a position in our public works
Office, he being a C.E.
and Architect. In the great reductions, which took place here lately in the public
service Mr Joachimi's appointment was also discontinued, and he is thus eager to obtain
an other scope for his talents, more particularly as he has a young family to support. Mr Joachimi is a man of remarkable ability and of excellent character and he would be a great
acquisition to your colony, even if he was only supported by the W. A. public in private practice.
