Sir
I have the honor of transmitting to you herewith an account of remuneration for work
done by Mr C. Hoffmann for the technologic Museum up to date during September. It
includes payment for the rest of the month, making a total of £14.6/-, being at the
rate of 11/ for 26 days. This sum is due under the vote of labeling and putting in
order exhibits, granted to the extent of £20. -. - by the Technologic Museum Commission.
I would beg to ask, that the sum of £14.6/ may also be granted for Mr Hoffmanns work
in October, in continuation of getting articles of vegetable substances ready under
my direction for the industrial Museum. The exhibits prepared this month are now in
the Museum.
I further beg to send two accounts for label printing, amounting to £9. — 6d. If the
Commissioners would be so good to vote an other twenty pounds Sterling for the phytologic
branch, all the expenditure til the end of October would be met, inclusive of small
items of outlay.
