I have the honor to acknowledge your letter of the 6th ult
& to inform you in reply that the Committee gratefully receive your consent to aid
in enabling the proposed course of lectures

A scheme of lecture course will be submitted to you for your consideration as soon
as possible.
The lectures are proposed to be commenced on the 1st of September, and Committee are
desiring of securing your assistance about the middle of the following October.
