Can I not hope, reverend and dear Sir, to gain some essay from your unrivalled knowledge of Fungi for my Museum material You must by this time have got an enormous number of species of fungi from me from time to time, and you might at least do me a great service by naming any not requiring difficult or tedious investigation.
Species not easily determinable might be laid aside until a fairer opportunity for working on them may arise to you.
Is the of Rabenhorst & Willkomm transferred to another genus?

See Berkeley's note published with M to Gardeners' chronicle and agricultural gazette, December 1869 (in this edition as 69-12-00e).
