The committee of management of the above Museum direct me to express to you their marked satisfaction at the able manner in which you have and are conducting the classifying and labelling of specimens for your section of the Industrial Museum exhibition, but require me to suggest to you that as the Museum is intended to be a popular institution as well as a scientific collection, it would in their opinion be advisable to place the English and common , as well as the scientific and Latin names on the wood specimens you have so elegantly and admirably arranged

Sir
Your obedient Servant
