Sir
I have the honor to inform you, that at a meeting of the Trustees of the Royal Park, held on the 18th inst., the attention of my colleagues was directed by Mr Alb. Le Souef, the agent of the Trustees, to the inadequate police protection of the Park; and I was directed by the Trustees to solicit, that a constable may be sent to the Park on Sundays and on holidays and at any other time when multitudes assemble at the Park, as the employees have found it impossible to secure respect for the Parks regulations without being upheld in their authority by the presence of some member of the public force.
