From the enclosed you will see, dear Mr Agg, that the papers concerning the gravelling
&c at Toorack, and required for adjustment are still in the Lands Office. Pray let
me have them as soon as you can.

MS memorandum: 'Improvements at Toorak in 1867. All papers relating thereto sent to
the office of the Hon. the Chief Secretary 29 June 1868 from Botanic Garden'. The
papers were referred to the Lands Department on 18 August 1868 'To provide for the
amount'.
Agg reported on 22 June 1870: 'I discovered the papers in the Registry Branch this
morning & forward them at once to you — Please return correspondence to this office
after you have detached the vouchers'.
