I have the honor to acknowledge, with thanks, the receipt of your letter of the 24th instant, stating that you will endeavour to supply the Department with the one hundred plants asked for.
In reply to your inquiry as to what varieties of are required, I beg to say that an assortment of strong plants of such varieties as you may be able to spare will suit the Department.
