Sir,
By direction of the Borough Council of Warrnambool I have the honour to thank you
for your kind attention to their request for some plants for the Botanical Gardens
here.
I have sent full instructions to Mr. Walker
as to the description of plant that will be suitable and am desired by the Council
to assure you that every care shall be taken so that they shall be properly seen to
upon arrival.

As the formation of the Gardens is only at its commencement probably various descriptions
of shrubs would be the best to make a start with.
