My Dear Friend,
Allow me to introduce to you Mr. Hugo Strong, the son of the Consul-General Mr. F.
Strong at Hamburg, an esteemed friend of mine, and one of the best friends of German
Geographers and Scientific men, who for many years has warmly encouraged all German
endeavours and undertakings, and who therefore will be sure to receive the sympathy
of so great a patriot as yourself and in his position as the
Humboldt of Australia
will receive these lines from the hands of his son.
