but, I am very much in want of glasses with a wide orifice, so need as many glass frames and glass-cases, as are obtainable.
It seems there are many glass-cases, which might be emptied in the Exhib. Building, and if so, I would eagerly seize on any such case. Will the trustees make an advance? or will the trustees give me authority to have them ordered and the account within a limited sum be rendered to them? Some methodus operandi will need to be adopted, and as I really can not afford the time to go much to & fro without necessity.
On Wednesday I have to attend a council meeting of the board of Agriculture and I can after that come to the Exhibition-Building to receive any glassces,

which may become empty. I will ask my colleagues also allow the whole agricultural collection & the soils-samples to pass into the general industrial collection
