26/8/69.
Allow me to mention to you, dear Mr Fitzgibbon, that the one side of the fence of the road in the vicinity of the Bathing-House is not yet completed, and that in consequence the cattle and horses invade in masses the old zoologic reserve. It is now more than a year , that the fencing work is under progress, and no end of anoyance has arisen in all this time for want of completion of the works Would you not do me the favor to get permission from the City Council, that just across the road at the bathing-house a three-rails fence from the old material lying there may be put up with a slip pannel. This will effectually keep the cattle out, and will not obstruct the traffic. The man at the bathing House could easily look after the maintenance of this temporary fence, until the rest of the road shall have got its proper fencing
