Letter not found. The text given here is from 'The search for Leichhardt', Empire (Sydney), 3 August 1869, p. [2], quoting the Yass courier. It is introduced by 'A private letter from Dr. Mueller, of Melbourne, to Mr. J. S. Calvert, of Cavan, states— '
